Celine, Irontech’s “Dust & Desire” girl, is a 27-year-old American Western cowgirl — born on a Texas ranch in Fort Worth, raised in Austin, and working as a professional equestrian performer, rodeo guest star and Western fashion model. Not a farm girl, not a country sweetheart: she’s the kind of woman who walks into a Texas saloon and turns every head. Strong liquor, not a delicate sip. Long hair, cowboy hat, leather boots — on her they’re a way of life, not an outfit. She doesn’t explain herself and never tries to please anyone.

She was riding alone across the ranch at fifteen, and believes freedom matters more than safety. A short stint in New York’s fashion world ended when she realised the skyscrapers blocked out the sky, so she went back to her horses, the road and the life she actually wanted.

Her story, After The Rodeo: the competition ended long ago and the stables have gone quiet. Golden sunset light pours through the barn planks onto the dry hay and leather. She sits in an old leather chair, hat pulled low, dust still on her boots. Someone asks why she isn’t out celebrating her win. She turns the riding crop in her hands, then smiles that calm, faint smile no one can imitate. “I’m already in my favorite place.” Outside, the wind moves through the pasture — and tomorrow she’ll ride toward the horizon again.
